
Fifth- and sixth-graders from St. Stephen’s Episcopal School in Harrisburg recently stayed a couple nights at the Ironmaster’s Mansion in Pine Grove Furnace State Park in Cumberland County for their annual environmental study field trip. They were among the first overnighters in the renovated hostel, a favorite stop-over with Appalachian Trail hikers that closed at the end of April 2010 because of its deteriorating conditions.
