BBC News – Lordship of Bisham manor up for sale

Members of the public have the chance to become a lord of the manor as a Berkshire title is up for sale.

The manorial lordship of Bisham in Berkshire was first bestowed by William The Conqueror to Henry De Ferrers in the 11th Century.

NRI sculptor Anish Kapoor has bought a 135-acre estate near Watlington in Oxfordshire in the UK.

Not so keen

The in-room décor was slightly too English-country-manor for my tastes,
although quirky touches, such as the wrought-iron treelike bed, offset any
blandness. Other quibbles included over-complicated light switches and the
