Parking is being banned in Caernarfon Castle Square in a bid to solve road safety issues.
Only blue badge holders, taxis and coaches – for drop offs – will be allowed to park at Y Maes under a new experimental traffic order.
Caernarfon Castle Square has been given a £2.4m facelift leaving some unhappy about the degree of consultation.

Bishop to move out of castle into Bishop Auckland
THE Church of England has confirmed the Bishop of Durham will no longer live in Auckland Castle.
The church commissioners are in the process of buying a house near the castle in Bishop Auckland, which will be used as temporary home. MAY 20 EDITION

Access to the bridge between Castle Emplacement and Castle Cornet has been restricted while engineers carry out a detailed inspection of the structure.
A routine structural inspection revealed some deterioration in the supports beneath the bridge.
As a temporary precaution, it has been closed to delivery vehicles and cars while a more detailed investigation is carried out.
