Preservation and paranormal groups raise $2,500 for Selma Mansion – timesherald.com

NORRISTOWN — Approximately $2,500 was raised by the Norristown Preservation Society (NPS) and the Pennsylvania Underground Paranormal Society (P.U.P.S.) Saturday, July 16 at Selma Mansion.

Peacocks and their bright plumage are to wow visitors to Cardiff’s historic castle after a four year absence.

In 2007, keepers were forced to move the previous pride because they kept straying into the road while searching for mates and became a safety risk.

Smith’s Castle – North Kingstown, RI Patch


Built in 1678, Smith’s Castle is one of the oldest houses in the state and on the site of Roger Williams’ original trading post. Along with being named a National Historic Landmark, Smith’s Castle has the honor of being an archaeological site.
