Five fire engines called amid Dover Castle blaze fears | This is Kent

FIVE fire engines, one from as far as Maidstone, were sent to a false alarm at Dover Castle last night when the Great Tower appeared to be up in flames.

Two crews from Dover and one from Whitfield attended the scene following reports of smoke issuing from the top of the keep yesterday evening.
