The Ballyedmond Estate, near Rostrevor in County Down, is located on the coastal side of the main Newry to Kilkeel Road and comprises a large agricultural estate with a substantial residential property in the middle in the form of a castle.The area is all within the Mourne Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The original Ballyedmond Castle was designed by the architect Sir Charles Lanyon and during its history it was used as a hotel.
