Ludwigsburg, Germany ⤒ Tour guide Thomas Weber has just taken part in a one-and-a-half hour nighttime ghost hunt in Ludwigsburg Castle in south-western Germany. He frowns as spirit medium Heike Maegel-Barth suddenly announces that she has made contact with the other side.

The inclusion of Bidwell Mansion State Historic Park among the 70 state parks slated to be closed next fiscal year doesn’t make any kind of sense—economic, educational or cultural. Historic S. Prairie Victorian Mansion Sells For $450,000
