The National Trust is considering introducing car parking charges as part of plans into managing a Grade I listed property near Plymouth.
The Georgian mansion Saltram House, is which surrounded by landscaped parkland, is a popular attraction.
The trust said the parking proposals had not been approved.

A Carmarthenshire mansion once earmarked as a convalescent home for injured soldiers has been sold to a private buyer for more than £1m.
The Healing The Wounds charity abandoned its attempt to raise more than £2m to buy Golden Grove mansion near Llandeilo earlier this year.
