Oxford Castle was this week discovered to have played a crucial part in the construction of the medieval myth of King Arthur.

Essex County is considering a $1.43 million plan to rehabilitate Kip’s Castle. The project would include window restorations, handicapped accessible ramps and repairs to the castle’s roofs and gutters.
