Twelve Families Found Living in Italian Palace for €5 a Month
The Italian Court of Audit is investigating how 12 families came to be living in the grounds of a Bourbon palace in southern Italy for rents between €5 and €15 per month ($5.50 – $16.50). Iolani Palace announced Tuesday that it has partnered with LNG3D Hawaii to create the first 3D model of a Hawaii historic site that allows online visitors to virtually tour the iconic royal residence.

Oheka Castle owner Gary Melius and the board of the Cold Spring Country Club are in talks to turn over the estate and golf course to golf great Jack Nicklaus and developer Stanley Gale in a 99-year lease, according to a letter sent to members of the country club and confirmed by several people involved.

Edinburgh’s festival season will begin with a spectacular light and music display projected on to the capital’s iconic castle and Castle Rock.
