Palace gardens feature in Disney adaptation of popular children’s tale | Oxfordshire Guardian


The grounds of Blenheim Palace at Woodstock are set to feature on the big screen for Disney’s film adaptation of Roald Dahl’s children’s story The BFG.

The Italian Garden at the stately home served as the location for a scene in The BFG film directed by Steven Spielberg and due to be released this summer.

Filming at the 18th-century palace lasted two to three days.
